There's a site I want to start reading using Isilo which requires login, and remembers your login through cookies. I set the "Cookies" property page for the document to send and receive cookies, but it doesn't seem to work. Every page after the main menu shows the login screen again once I convert the app and view it on my palm. Am I using the cookie support incorrectly?

Site had a "logout" link -- I added a URL exclusion filter for the logout link and everything worked great! Clearly the logout link was killing the cookie, and that's why I wasn't logged in for subsequent requests. Nice feature, that URL filter.

I have been trying to use a similar approach to get content from Discover.com into iSilo. I am a registered user, but when I sync, all I get is the register/login pages. I tried the advice about filters but it didn't work. I have a discover.com cookie, and I told cookies to send and receive, but I can't get it to work properly. I tried adding the specific cookie, but am pretty sure I didn't enter the information correctly. If necessary, I can provide the cookie for help with this. Having paid for the ability to login and get all the content, I would sure love to be able to take it with me for road trips etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately, I don't have any particulary good advice to give; I got it to work for the site I wanted to use, so I know that the cookies ultimately worked for me. I'd take a look at all the pages you're trying to convert and see if there are any other links that might be logging you out, and see if maybe there's a problem in the wildcard you're using to try to block the logout page.

I received some input from a PDA247 visitor that pointed me to the link below

I have it all working great now. This link gives some good information for how to use the "add cookies" capability of iSilo. I used the hints on opening the text file that Internet Explorer generates.
Thanks for all the help and suggestions.
