RC1 freezes when using Updated view

I'm using RC1 on a Clie NX70 w/docs stored on a memory stick & CF card. I've had no problem using the "updated" view with previous builds, but now when I click on updated, the MS light goes on for several minutes (and then I do a reset).
I've go approximately 30 docs in total on the unit, with most on the memory stick, but 5-10 on a CF card.

What method/software do you use to access CF memory cards in the CF slot, as the NX70 does not natively support memory cards in the CF slot? If there is an issue, it may be related to that.

I am using the "hacked" drivers from UX50 - however, this has never been a problem with other apps or with any other versions of iSilo, and I just did a hard reset and removed all CF drivers as a test and still see the problem.
Other things to try?

The problem has disappeared after my morning sync of new docs; perhaps there was a problem with one of the previous days docs which triggered the "updated" view problem? Anyway, working fine now
