Hi folks,
New poster, old user...
I've always gladly used the beta stuff and just updated because I received the message:
This pre-release test software has expired and will no longer function. Please update to the latest version.
I've upgraded, downgraded, ungraded, uninstalled, reinstalled, etc. , but I cannot make the message go away!
Since this is my corporate laptop, I really would like to get rid of this message so it doesn't pop up in the middle of a presentation or something. Any help?

Which specific beta version are you using? Is it iSilo or iSiloX? And for which platform?

The latest beta is 4.05b4 with an expiration date of June 15, 2004.

I am using the latest iSilox beta 4.05b4 for Windows.

iSiloX 4.05b4 expires on June 15, 2004. Double-check that your system time is correct. Also, go to Help/About iSiloX to verify that you are indeed using 4.05b4.

I have uninstalled iSilox from my laptop and I still receive the message!!! Otherwise, everything you suggested was correct; i.e. system time, correct version...

I ran my task manager to identify which app was launching and noticed iSiloX.exe was still trying to launch, even after I uninstalled it. I did a search and found a mystery copy in MyDocuments??? I deleted that, reinstalled, and all is now okay. Thanks for your Sunday responses to my dilemma! :D
