What happens specifically when you attempt to tap on a link?

the ppc defaults to the desktop and isilo has to be restarted. no error, isilo just shuts down. :(

Sounds like either a corrupt document or a bug. Would you be able to email the .pdb document file as a file attachment to http://www.iSilo.com/img/email.jpg so that we can try to reproduce the problem?

the file works on the home desktop fine. I copied the one on the home comp. and the same results. I then change the file name to include the .pdb extension and now it doesnt shutdown isilo totally it just closes the tms 2008 file so i am getting closer. Note some hot links work, it is just the links to the scriptures that dont work. Unfourtunatly this file is not to be sent over the internet by us end users and i agreed to theese resrictions when i recieved it, so another solution (possibly contact patric west) will have to try.
I am going to try to load it straight to the cf card in linux and see if there is any difference.
with many diferent tries i found an upgrade to isilo 501 solved the problem. although mr west informed me of another problem i have :o . (whatever happened to "i want justice and mercy not sacrifices" Hmmm starting to get discouraged with the ppc wt thing.

When I hit on the link for the TMS 2009 I get a error saying that the external document nwt-rbi8e can't be found. and I know that it is on here. the same with the wtpub when I hit the plus sign in the scriptures, it says it can't find the external document wtpub-en-dx. and that is on my iphone too. Can I get some help with this please.

In the current version, there is a problem with external documents when they are located at the top of the document directory. There is a fix for this in the next update, which we hope Apple will make available soon. In which directory do you have the documents?

in the download directory, then in a folder named Theocratic.

Make sure the files are in the correct locations relative to one another. After the 1.1 update becomes available, which we expect within the next 24 hours, please try it to see if you still encounter the problem.

When I tap it says can't find external document, but I have it in the same folder

How large are the files? If they are not more than several megabytes, would you be able to email them to us at http://www.iSilo.com/img/email.jpg so that we can reproduce the problem to determine the cause?

We received the "TMS 2009.pdb" file. Opening it, on page 1, we click the "5" link on the Jan line, which brings us to the "Jan 5" page, where we click "Genesis 1-5". That external link requests a document named "NWT-Rbi8-E". Do you have a file with that name in the same directory as the "TMS 2009.pdb" file?

mclemm

Yes, they are both in download. I sent that file to you also, in order for you to test it.

In the email that we received, there was only the "TMS 2009.pdb" file attached. Did you send the other one in a different email? If so, then we did not receive it. In any case, would you mind sending the "NWT-Rbi8-E" again?

mclemm

yes I sent it in another email, I will send again.

We still haven't received your email with the second file. How large is it?

mclemm
09-10-2008, 11:16 PM
it says 8.70mb, and I sent it twice
It is in my sent folder any other way I can send it to you? I will try again.

It may be too large. Can you try zipping it first and then send the zip?

mclemm

ok I will do that now.

It is not just folder that must match, it is the file name and on the iPhone that includes the CASE of the name.

Cross-posted from t-tools
===================
Folks,

Notice that Curt has found that on the iPhone the External document
CASE must match.

By CASE we mean upper and lower case.

So
WTPUB-EN-DX-2007A.PDB
is NOT the same as
WTPub-EN-DX-2007a.pdb

On the iPhone.

Yes it is the same on Windows and on Pocket PC but NOT on the iPhone.

This makes sense as the iPhone is built on top of UNIX structures and
in UNIX case does make a differences.

So whatever case is shown in the Can't find message, make certain your file has the same CASE/1
