Not sure if this is a bug in v5.0b1 on the Palm version. When you go to the Annotation settings and click the Select file... button, my Palm locks up and I have to do a soft reset. My Palm is a Sony Clie PEG TJ25

In the replies to this issue other issues were addressed, but not this one. At least I did not see it.
My friend has a life drive. We have upgraded to 5.01 specifically for the annotation function. My, Treo 700p is working great with it. I love it! Her life drive is experiencing the above problem. She has isilo 5.01 and the documents she wishes to view on a 128MB SD card. I have uninstalled and installed the upgrade several times to her card with no change. Under system information Dynamic memory is 4442K Free, Storage 41220K Free, DB Cache 5845K Free. Just trying to include any info that might help. I increased the memory setting under Document list from 250K to 500K. I tried decreasing it to 100K. Nothing is fixing it.

Please help. :(

There is currently a problem whereby if the document already has an annotations file associated with it, the problem you describe happens. The workaround is to tap "Disassociate File" in the Annotation Settings form first before attempting to select another file. A fix for this issue will be incorporated into the next update.

Sorry, no files attached. Did tap Deassociate files just to see if that would lock it up as well. Did not lock up, but did not fix issue.

Hopefully this info will help update.

Any other suggestions?

Woohoo! I finally got the annotation to work on the lifedrive. We removed all files from the expansion card. (had already moved iSilo to the device). Then formatted the card and returned the files I still wanted back on the card. Thought I would try one more time and to my great surprise IT WORKED!!!

I hope this will help others who maybe experiencing the same frustration I was.
Woohoo! :D
