I use IsiloX to generate web pages for viewling on my handheld. I also use IsiloX to download those to my secure digital card for reading on Isilo.

My question is after I delete those particular files after viewing them, they fill up my backup or archive palm folders.

How do you delete them so they arent' saved to those folders.

I have over 22,000 of them now and it's painful to weed through them to delete the ones I don't need.

Thanks,
Richard

If the files are installed in the handheld's internal memory, then the HotSync process automatically sets the backup flag for the files so that they are backed up in the Backup directory within your user directory that is within the directory where you installed the Palm Desktop software. You can use a file manager on your Palm device to turn off the backup flag for the files, but in general there is no quick way to do this en masse.

Isn't there a way for iSiloX to create a pdb file, but with the backup bit turned off?

Thank you.

iSiloX always creates the .pdb files with the backup flag off. It is the HotSync process that automatically turns the backup flag on.
