HI. I'm new to PDA's and siloX. I'm trying to convert an HTM file with isiloX. I end up with an .ixl file that won't go to my PDA when I do a sync. The only option I'm given is to send the .ixl file to a secureDigital card - my PDA doesn't have an SD card. I end up with this result when trying to do it with my MAC and get the same result when I try the same operation under the version of Windows XP I can run on my Mac.

The .ixl file stores your settings for conversion so you can reconvert the source content if it changes. When you convert an entry, it generates a .pdb file. The .pdb file is the file you view with iSilo on your PDA.

What model number/platform is your PDA?

I have the Palm T/X and my computer is an intel iMac- I do the whole conversion thing and nothing happens. I mean no PDB file appears anywhere. Where is it supposed to appear?

You need to specify where you want the .pdb to be placed.

Select the entry you created for conversion and then in the Document menu click Properties. In the Properties dialog, go to the Destination page. There, click the Folder icon and select a folder where you want the .pdb to be written. Click OK. After converting, the .pdb file should be in the select folder. You can then copy it to your TX.
