Is there any chance of lightening up some of the colors? Many of them are too dark to read the annotated text through when the back ground is white and the text is black. I realize that some of the annotation colors are probably intended for use where the text is not black on white. Otherwise being able to annotate with white and black would be pointless. However there seem to be a lot of annotation colors that don't work well for the normal black on white text. Maroon, Purple, Blue, Navy and Black all make the text unreadable. Red, Green and Grey are hard to read through.

I'd really like to use Red a lot for important things, but then it's hard to read the important text!

I agree in principle with what you are saying.

My suggestion is to group the Highlight Colors more logically. There are the standard "highlighter" colors such as Yellow, Fuschia, Aqua and Lime - and then there are the "other" colors, some of them quite dark onscreen. It would be great if the "highlighter" colors were at the top of the list for quicker access.

See point 1 on the following post:

I agree that some of the colors are too dark. I'd be happy to recommend a set of colors for highlighting if the developer is interested. Something a little more transparent. ;)
