I have created a Isilo document that is a single Index page to other Isilo document files. I have found that everything works fine when I have only 3 external links in this file - but as soon as I add another one then Isilo simply terminates.

This issue is occurring using the Pocket PC version - on the Windows version there is no problem. I am using WM5.

I should mention that I have renamed the external files, changed the links, changed the order of the links and many other combinations. It all seems to point to simply having more than 3 different external links as being the issue.

I hope can be resolved as everything else is working great...

Regards,
Matthew

Would you be able to attach a set of iSilo document files that you created that exhibit the problem so that we can attempt to reproduce the problem and determine the cause?

Sure thing. Attached is a zipped set of files - the source HTML files, the IXL files, and the output PDB files.

Basically there is a Library.pdb that points to four documents - Isilo1.pdb, Isilo2.pdb, Isilo3.pdb, Isilo4.pdb.

When placed on the Pocket PC (WM5) Isilo crashes as soon as I click on a link in Library.pdb. If I then remove one of the links and regenerate the Library.pdb file it works fine.

Let me know if you have any questions, and thanks for replying...

Matthew

We have reproduced the issue with your file set and so the issue is under investigation. Thank you for attaching the files.

This problem has been fixed in 5.0 beta4, which is now available from the beta page (http://www.iSilo.com/info/beta/index.htm). The fix will also be rolled into the next update to version 4.x sometime in the near future. The most obvious condition under which the problem occurs is if you have several external links in a row where the destination target is specified as a document name only with no fragment part.

Perfect, this is now working well. I have a page with probably 20 links in a row - no errors.

Thanks for resolving that so quickly...
