I am considering a Sony Erricsson P1 smartphone
that runs Symbian™ OS v9.1

Will any of the current versions of Isilo work on this phone ?
If yes which one ?

There is currently no platform version of iSilo that will run on the Sony Ericsson P1, which uses Symbian UIQ 3, but a platform version of iSilo for Symbian UIQ 3 is under development and may enter the beta test stage next month.

Just d/l and tried the UIQ3 version. Everything looks great to me except it doesn't work in showing Chinese characters. Did I miss anything ? Or it just doesn't work in Chinese system ? Thanks !

Please answer the following questions so that we can try to help you:

1. While viewing the document, go to the menu and select Edit/Document information. On the General tab, what is the value for the "Text:" field?

2. While viewing the document, go to the menu and select Edit/Options. In the Options dialog, go to the Font tab, which is the second to the last tab. On the Font tab, what are the names of all the fonts listed in the "Font to use" field?

Hello, I have 2 questions:
- on my p1i i cannt map hw buttons (web and photo are possible) for actions in isilo
- why UIQ3 version not support landscape mode?

In general, not all buttons are mapppable as the device may prevent it.

iSilo does not support landscape orientation unless the OS or device inherently supports it.

and which button can i use for mapping funktions on P1?
In version 4 for UIQ2 was "rotate" funktion suported (without OS support), why not in UIQ3?

I can't map any H/W button on my p1i, too.
The pull down menu shown Device0,1,2..... & Application 0,1,2..... instead of the real button named on the phone. Please help!!!!
I used to be a M600 user & the key assignment is fine.
But when I just upgraded to P1i & got this problem.
Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :mad:
