From what I understand after reading the manual for v4.01, I can create 'global' bookmarks that can hyperlink the viewer from document A to document B. Yet, it seems not to be working. The 'global' bookmark for document A is not even visible while viewing document B. Both document A and B are in iSilo format. What am I doing wrong? Or, did I misinterpret the 'global' bookmark feature?

As things are now, I see no difference in 'global' bookmarks and 'document' bookmarks.

There is currently no difference in global and document bookmarks. Global bookmark linking is a legacy feature that is no longer supported due to various implementation and operational problems. So it is currently not possible to generate documents that link to one another via bookmarks or other means, but a new implementation is under consideration for the future.
