View Full Version : On reinstalation ISilo will not accept my registration code indicates invalid number.

I checked several times and the code inserted is the correct one. Anyone have had this problem? How can it be corrected?

Make sure that you install the version for which you are licensed.

do you have to purchase isilo for every version you need. Lets say I had version 4.3 and now download version 5.0. Do I need to pay for it?

The license you purchase is a for a given major version and any minor version number updates to it are free. A minor version update is one where the number before the period stays the same and the number after the period changes. So if you have a license for version 4.x, your license is good also for the latest update to version 4.x, which is version 4.37. Version 5.x is a different major version, so you would need to purchase an upgrade license for it.

I purchased Isilo ver 4.26 for a Dell Axim - now I'm trying to reinstall it on a warrenty replacement Axim. I downloaded ver 4.37 to try to reinstall it, but I get the registration number invalid - I'm using the serial number listed on the old ver 4.27 as the registration number, do I need to purchase an upgrade to get it to work?

The serial number is not your registration code. If you have lost your registration code, fill out the Lost Registration Code Request (http://www.isilo.com/support/LostRegCodeRequest.php) form and submit it.

Thanks. I'll try that, but it's been three years and I'm willing to upgrade. Does ISilo 5.X work on Axim 50? Handango states that ISilo is unavailable for Axim x50v or Axim x51v.

Yes, iSilo 5.x for Pocket PC is compatible with both of those Dell devices.
