Hi,
In testing the trial version of the beta I've found quite frequently that when adding annotations that when the application returns to the document screen you see the text momentarily and then the text area goes blank. As soon as you start scrolling the text reappears (first line missing) so the text is present although not displayed when this problem occurs.
The results seem independent of whether I add a comment to the annotation or leave the comment field blank.
I'm using a Tungsten T3 with both the document and annotation file residing on the SD card.
