Slow response for iSilo in WM6

I have been the faintful customer of iSilo since the age of Palm V.

Recently I have installed the latest Smartphone version iSilo on my Window Mobile 6.0 smartphone (Dopod C730), and I found that the iSilo is unacceptablely sloooooooooooow~~~~~~~~~ especially when I open Chinese pdb files. It is so slow that I even found it difficult to page down/ page up, and sometimes it even hanged my device.

I think iSilo may be some capability problem in WM6. Since iSilo is a must-have program in all my PDAs, I really hope that the developer can check this out at the soonest possible.

With one of the slow Chinese documents open in iSilo, go to the Tools menu and select Document Information. What is the Text Encoding of the document? If it is not Unicode/UTF-8 and you converted the document yourself with iSiloX, try converting the document again, but setting the output encoding to Unicode (UTF-8) iSiloX/Properties/Document/Text Encoding Options/Output document text encoding/Unicode (UTF-8), and seeing whether it makes a difference.

The chinese doc is already in utf-8. condition for those document's encoding are not utf-8 are even worse.
