There are expected to be additional beta iterations so that all the issues can be worked out.

let me guess.. so "trivial" things like "double tap selects whole word" or "selected word gets automatically copied to clipboard" is planed for a later release? EVERY palm-reader has it - with reason (ok with reason if you accept, that not everyone speaks the same language and that there are dictionaries for this reason..)

From the iSilo Beta (http://isilo.com/info/beta/index.htm) web site:
Beta software is software that is functionally complete, but not considered free of bugs, and which will generally be made publicly available for testing so that its proper operation can be verified across a variety of usage scenarios and environments.
While I am not an "insider", I believe that your requested features will not be present in 4.05. Perhaps you should post on the iSilo Requests and Suggestions Forum (http://forum.isilo.com/forumdisplay.php?f=53) rather than the support forum.

it has been wished, requested, begged for so often since at least 2 years (in the turcic forums which had been monitored by the developers) that i seriousely consider to switch readers. it is SO trivial, that i consider it just careless for the customer not to implement it..
what prevents switching until now was the excelent isilox - but even this functionallity you can find elsewhere, and even there developement stands still since a year (turcic with his excellent web channel collection http://www.mobileread.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=28 is longing for regular expression support - something plugger has since dunnowhen.. with the help of regex you can do such magic like bringing the NYT to the palm - have a look here: http://jpluck.sourceforge.net/ )
seriously

Any updates on the ETA of the new release? Have we now had the last beta version?

There are still some outstanding issues that need resolution, so version 4.05 will still be in beta for a while yet.
