T-Mobile Ameo (HTC Athena) WM5

Seems like version 4.32 has numerous problems with this VGA device.
1. Very slow loading application
2. Very slow loading documents
3. Crashes often - no error messages

Doesn't seem to matter if files are on storage car, mircodrive or memory.

Is there a fix for these problems, just by chance I reverted to 4.01, the only other one I could find for downlaod on this site - this seems to fix the crashes and slow loading problems?

However, it of course does not remember where you were (in terms of folders,) so you have to select again if you close.

Is there a better version I could use which will not crash or a fix to the current one?

Actually I may have been a little hasty in my saying the old version worked. It did seem to for a time, but now has the same 'slowness' about it! Guess it is another problem - I still see no fix though?

This sounds like a device issue and not an iSilo issue, or?

I've installed the iSilo on numerous PPC and SP made by HTC and never had any problem, with ANY version :(

Any other programs/features not working on your Athena? Maybe this initial versions are having some issues? BTW is it WM5 or WM6, I know you say WM5 but are you sure?

Thanks justme, it is WM5. All other programs work very well indeed. In fact I think most people would agree that it is perhaps one of the most complete (ROM and software wise) devices HTC has ever made - especially when compared with the original universal devices!

It is still doing it and it makes iSilo largely unusable - I guess I will have to start looking for an alternative. Shame really as I've used iSilo on every PDA I've every had, which is quite a few... and I'd got used to it.
