iSiloX/iSiloXC 4.01b3 adds the following features:

Added support for id attribute in div tag to serve as a hyperlink target.

iSiloX/iSiloXC 4.01b3 addresses the following issues:

All platforms:


CSS data containing non-ASCII characters may result in incorrect formatting of content.
Tables containing cells with large rowspans may fail to convert.
If a file is specified as UTF-16 encoded and has an odd number of bytes, conversion may hang.
If a file has multiple meta tags, only the first one is used, whereas the last should be used.
When using the option to include tables reachable only up to a certain level, the converted document may display blank and show a fixed percentage of 99%.

iSiloX for Windows:


From 4.01b1: When the Windows task bar is either at the left or top, the position of the iSiloX window would shift in the direction of the task bar by the width of the task bar each time the application is launched.
From 4.01b2: If two HotSync names differ only in case, installation to one may incorrectly install to the other.
From 4.01b2: If two HotSync names differ only in case, it may not be possible to add both as destinations.

I have a WSJ Online subscription and every moring I go to the page

http://online.wsj.com/page/0,,2_0133,00.html

and click on the IsiloX clipper button to download it. (I'd use IsiloX on its own but it's a page that's only accessible to subscribers and I can't get the cookies to work right... but that's for another post.) I use a link depth of 1 to download all the articles.

Well, most days there is at least one linked page that doesn't make it into the isilo file. No error message or anything, but when I'm browsing offline on my PocketPC, I click the link to the article I want, and I end up reading the next (or previous) article. Essentially, IsiloX takes two hyperlinks that point to different pages, and makes them point to the same page! It's very frustrating because it means the article I want to read is just not there!

I have attempted to attach an an example of this problem but I got an error message that the file is too large. I will email it to Isilo support. When I to page 1 of this Isilo file and click the link "CBC: Can't by Christmas" the page that displays is the same as the next link "Judicial Colonialism."

Help! I love Isilo, I love the Wall Street Journal, but the two just aren't cooperating!

On one of the days when you discover the problem, you will need to send your user name and password so that we can reproduce the problem through iSiloX Clipper to try to see specifically why the content at the link is not working. Having the converted file will not help as it sounds like an issue with pulling the page during conversion.

At the iSilo.com website, go to the information page and follow the contacts link for the email address to send the information.
