ISilo crashes on Dell X51v

I recently purchased a Dell Axim X51v and installed ISilo to the SD card. I've also got all of my documents on the expansion card. ISilo seems to crash randomly--I even get crash messages when it's not the active program that I'm running. Most of the errors seem to be WinCE501bException. I can see quite a lengthy group of information if I view the technical information in the crash report, but I don't know what would be useful. Is it even possible to run ISilo from the SD card, or have I induced a bit of instability there? If not, can the documents (at least) reside off the main device?
I've used ISilo with several different Palm devices for several years, and I have yet to see it crash on one of them.

Yes, both iSilo and documents can run off of the card. The X51v has been around a long time now and there have not been any similar reports of the problem you describe, so it sounds unusual.

So is there something I could do to facilitate a solution? I could copy the error text out--there may be something analogous to a .dmp file on a PC--would that help (if I can find it)?

You can copy the error text, but it probably would not help.

Does the problem only seem to occur with one particular document or does it seem to occur regardless of the document you have open?

What brand of SD card do you have?

I'd suggest to copy everything off the card and FORMAT it, and then copy it back.

If that doesn't help try backing up your Dell, and then HARD RESET and then restore (I had to do that just yesterday myself on my Dell, now it's just fine).

I had the same crashing problem with my Axim x51v. Try installing Isilo and your documents on the main memory.

I have problems reading documents off my storage card - Initially opening and reading the document is okay, but crashes if the power turns off. My location in the document is lost. Also, Isilo does not recognize the storage card afterwards. I can reproduce this error.
Then after opening options and refreshing multiple times, does the storage card show up again.

I did not have this problem when document were in main memory, but due to space limitations I need a storage card.
