I'm having trouble getting iSilo (v 4.01) on my PPC to acknowledge iSilo docs on the expansion card. I've tried making a folder on the expansion card named iSilo and putting the .pdb files there. I've also tried putting the .pdb files directly in the expansion card's root directory. If I open the file on the expansion card it opens in iSilo and functions properly. But iSilo does not acknowledge the documents on the expansion card from within the program. They don't show up in iSilo on the document list view and I can't open the documents without locating them using the separate File Explorer program.

Help.

Initially, upon startup, iSilo™ sets "\My Documents\iSilo" as the top-level folder for the document list view. For the top-level folder, the document list view allows you to see the files stored in the top-level folder itself and in the top-level folder's immediate subfolders of both your device's internal storage memory and of any inserted memory cards. You can set the top-level folder to either "\My Documents" or "\My Documents\iSilo". For storage cards, the storage card is usually under a directory named "Storage Card", so the path to those directories would be "\Storage Card\My Documents" and "\Storage Card\My Documents\iSilo", respectively. Please see the section about the document list view in the "iSilo for Pocket PC" manual on the support (http://www.isilo.com/) page for more details.

So you need to place your documents into the top-level folder or one of its immediate sub-folders for the files to appear in iSilo's document list view.

If you place your files anywhere else, you can use the File Explorer to open them, assuming you have assigned the .pdb extension to iSilo.

The next update to iSilo, currently in beta, will have more flexible document opening capabilities, including the ability to navigate to any folder.
