Installed to the memory card with no problems. Used IsiloX to convert a couple of files to isilo format and copied them to the Documents directory on the memory card.
1. First test:
Opened iSilo, the new files are nowhere to be found, only a couple of files appeared (examples).
Tried using the built-in File Manager and could not even see files on the C:\Documents. After using Y-Browser (freeware file manager), I can see the iSilo subdirectory and the files in there. What they are doing on the memory as I asked installing on the card?????
Using the PC Suite desktop connection, the C:\Documents is also blank??? Had to use Y-Browser to move my files to the iSilo sub-dir.
Why it is not able to find or allow us to specify where we have files????
2. Second test:
Entered iSilo again and opened one of the files. The first page has links to other topics. Up & Down seem to paginate. Left & Right started navigating thru the links on the page.
I have more links than what fits in one page. After it started navigating thru the links, both Up & Down and Left & Right do the same, go one link back or forward IN THE CURRENT PAGE. Took me almost 30 minutes to figure the backspace would get me back. You have to have on the two keys, instead of Menu and Close, Menu and Back.
First impression conclusion:
1. Not being able to access files on the miniSD card is a huge mistake
2. Files can be everywhere, we should be allowed to browse and search what we want to open
3. This works but the interface is very similar to the old Services browser. You have to have a look on the newer Web browser (on every S60v3 device), much better, uses a mouse pointer like interface.
Please, delete this one (http://forum.isilo.com/showthread.php?t=2770) as I posted on the wrong forum!

You can open files on the memory card.
The document list view provides five different views you can use, so use the one that best suits how you prefer to organize your document files. The tabs at above the document list indicate the current view. Use left/right to go to a different view. Take a look in the manual under the document list view section for an explanation of the different views.
An initial default installation of iSilo starts you in the favorite folders view for which the initial default favorite folder is \Documents\iSilo, which displays files in the \Documents\iSilo directory across all volumes, both internal and on memory cards.
If you want to navigate through the file system as you would in a file browser, you can use the Device & Storage Cards view. That is the rightmost tab (5th tab).

As I said, the interface still have a lot to be tweaked. We will use Back a lot more than close, the right button should have a better assignment.
On the 5th tab, it's nowhere to be seen that we are actually on a file browse interface. Reading the manual, it saids I have to press the clear key twice. I assume it's the <- (back) key, did that and got into problems. I can see the scrollbar blinking and, if I try to up/down, it returns to the first link. Seem almost like someone is constantly pressing up. Took a lot of tries in order to return to the isilo folder.

I have the same model (E62) and the same file navigation issue listed in the reply above. So this bug appears to be consistent. Creating the duplicate path \Documents\iSilo on my miniSD card and moving my files there was a successful workaround.

Problem is related to refresh. Using Menu / Edit / Options / Refresh and setting it to Manual fixed the problem.

Shortcuts for Find and Find next would be nice as well.

Another issue, now with fonts. Reading text files, I can change the font that is being used but, on html isilox converted files, the font setting has no impact at all. Btw, changing the default to large (instead of medium), all new files come with medium??????
I created a very small html file, no font references, and it still does not allow me to change the font (the default font and size is almost unreadable).

Can someone please move the other thread on non-beta forums to here?

If you check them all, you will see that no one is able to figure how to browse the sd card, interface is not friendly at this time.

This did work fine after I created the /Documents/iSilo folder on my card. Thanks for the tip.
Is there an option to view .txt files like on other platforms or is that still coming? I apologize if I missed the option, though I have tried to look at all menus to be sure. I can use the file browser to select a .txt file and choose "Open with" iSilo, which works fine, but the phone does not remember the association and the file cannot be selected from inside iSilo while browsing.
Thanks!
Warren

Yes, you can view text files. Go to Menu/Tools/Filter to change the file list extension filter.
Hi,
you can indeed change the fonts of a displayed document, but you will have to set it up while having the document open.
Menu -> Edit -> Options
The only thing I have to complain about ist, that the font size 'Medium' is a bit too small, while 'Large' is quite too large for the screen of my E61. I don't know what the font sizes are related to, but shifting up from smallest, which is absolutely unreadable and adjusting the font sizes between Medium and Large would be very useful.
Cheers,
Budy

I know I can change the font, and it works fine when you are viewing text files. But, when I am viewing pdb files (html pages, books, ...) that have been converted with isilox, even if the original doc does not have any fonts reference, changing the font on isilo has no effect at all.
As for the default font, it is almost unreadable.
Right now, my prefered docs reader are MobiReader and QReader. Hope isilo can catch up.
Hmm, I am having two .pdb files that are created with iSiloX on Mac OS X and those are web sites that I like to take with me and I surely can change the font size within both documents.
Cheers,
Budy
