I just got a Clie NR70 that, two days ago, used iSilo in the full 320x480 format. I did some hard resets and ended up reloading all the apps, and I THOUGHT I had the same version of iSilo, but now I can't drop the graffiti area out of the way. Upgraded to 4.01, no go. Got the 4.05 beta, still no go.

Any ideas? I don't know what else has changed, but this seems to be a popular question. Popular answers don't seem to work, though.

Thanks!

I do not own an NR70, but perhaps iSilo requires the Tungsten 3 expanded-screen library (available from the same page as the iSilo download).

My other guess would be that you need to set in option in the Clie "Prefs" program. Perhaps you have not enabled iSilo for HiRes mode?

Don't install T3 DIA prcs on anything but a T3. If you do, you may lose your data and need to perform a hard reset. The T3 DIA prcs are from Palm to provide the standard API to developers for accessing the dynamic input area.

The NR70 has its own API and does not need any added files. Support for the soft graffiti area of the NR70 was added in iSilo version 3.11.

Thanks!Actually, it is not a popular question for the NR70. Since support for the soft Graffiti area of the NR70 was added in version 3.11 (June 2002), there have been no reports of it not working, so it really sounds unusual that it is not working for you.

You say that you tried version 4.01, but double-check to make sure that you are in fact running the version you think you are by going to iSilo's Tools menu and tapping "About iSilo". Many times it is the case that a user thinks he installed and is running the correct version but is in fact not for whatever reason.

Maybe you somehow installed a program that replaced part of the built-in functionality of your NR70? So maybe you might also want to check on everything that you installed.
