View Full Version : External Mem sync problem

My hard drive recently died so I had to set up the whole thing again (i lost my .ixl file too :'( ), and I'm having trouble sync'ing converted docs to my memory stick.

I'm running iSilo 3.x and iSiloX 4.x on my desktop. I think I have all the destinations configured properly, but the converted docs aren't being moved to my external memory card.

on my desktop: converted files are stored in <where my palm profiles are stored>\iSiloI
on my clie (ms): I've created palm\programs\iSilo folder (sync didn't auto-create the folder, so i made it myself)
I'm assuming that the isilo sync conduit takes files from iSiloI and puts them into \palm\programs\isilo. Correct?

I've unregistered/registered the conduit dll several times and restarted hotsync app to see if it's a conduit problem, but that didn't help.
anything else I can check or try out to fix this problem?
thanks in advance

Did you make sure to also have iSilo in the internal memory of your device? If it isn't (e.g., if it is on a memory card), the HotSync manager will not call upon the iSilo Install conduit to do its job.

yep. that was it. i had moved the isilo app to my memory stick to save some ram. i have to relocate most of my apps to ms since my NX70V doesn't have much ram left after sony's basic stuff..:( isilo is good enough to stay in ram though :)

thanks for your help!
