I have an HP Ipaq and have purchased ver. 4.32 and installed it on my device. The trial mode works, but when I try to enter my registration # it tells me that I have entered an invalid #. I have entered it a dozen times, with dashes, without, upper case, lower case, and several times exactly as it is printed in my e-mail. The program will NOT accept the code I am entering. I have read the other poster's questions regarding this and since I AM entering the "Registration Code" as typed in my e-mail, I can't figure out why it won't accept it unless somehow my registration number that I was sent isn't correct. Can you PLEASE help me???????

We looked up your order and you purchased a license for "iSilo for Windows", which is a separately licensed product from "iSilo for Pocket PC". That is why the registration code is not working to register "iSilo for Pocket PC" on your iPAQ device.

Thank you for your reply. I looked at my invoice closer, and according to that, yes, it looks like I purchased iSilo for Windows. However, the application file I downloaded is : iSilo432PPCSetup. And when I ran it, it directs me to complete installation on my device, and it is NOT loaded or accessible to run on my laptop. It requires my pocket PC to open it. Does this mean that I purchased a desktop program that I cannot run, or a Pocket PC program that I cannot register? If it is my error, then obviously I am prepared to purchase the correct program, but since what I downloaded is "PPC Setup" (could that mean Pocket PC Setup?) that means that I purchased the correct program, but it was invoiced incorrectly. Which then means that all I need is a correct registration code. Right? If that is the case, could you please send me a new code? Or advise me which application I ordered and downloaded vs what I was invoiced for? Thanks!

Hey!

I purchased a license for ISilo for pocket pc (my device is an iPaq). The registration is invalid.
I checked the existing Isilo version and it is 3.35. I've tried to install the 4.32 version a million times but the all come out "unsuccesful", what could a solution be?

Kind regards

What is the specific error message that you are getting?

See if any of the following threads applies:

Installation reports iSiloDvS.dll is in use or is in ROM (http://forum.isilo.com/showthread.php?t=26)

hi again

What is the exact procedure to upgrade the 3.35 version to the 4.32 version?
What i've done so far is
1. close active sync, that is disconnect the device.
2. download the setup file from http://www.isilo.com/download/dl/iSilo432PPCSetup.exe
3. run the exe file
4. (at this point it tells me to connect the device at go from there)
5. connecting the device
6. it tells me that a version is already installed, proceed and uddate?
7. clicking yes and goind through the steps and endning the install process, after this i get an error msg saying "the installetion of ... .CAB was unsuccesfull"
8. End of story

Try doing a soft/warm reset of your device, then try installing again.
