Which version of iSilo is compatible with a Windows Mobile phone made by HTC? Is it PocketPC or Windows Mobile Smartphone?

HTC makes many different devices. Does it have a touchscreen? If so, then it is probably a Windows Mobile Pocket PC device, hence you would use "iSilo for Pocket PC". If not, then it would probably be "iSilo for Windows Mobile Smartphone".

Thanks, but the phone in question uses the "Windows Mobile" OS. It does have both "touch screen" and phone pad controls. It's not a "Pocket PC". If you think it advisable, I could try the Pocket PC version of ISILO and see if this works.

I would recommend trying iSilo for PocketPC.

There are two main Windows Mobile versions:

Windows Mobile Pocket PC
Windows Mobile Smartphone
For Windows Mobile Pocket PC, there is a further sub-version called Windows Mobile Pocket PC Phone Edition. Since you say your phone has a touchscreen, then it must be a Pocket PC device.

Thanks for the input. I tried to install iSilo for Pocket PC and what I'm seeing on my device is that the installation was unsuccessful. "iSilo shows up in my program files, but when selected I see the message, "The document could not be opened". I'm not at all sure what's wrong at this point.

How did you install it? It sounds almost as if you copied the Windows .exe onto the device. Perhaps take a look at the installation page (http://isilo.com/support/howto/InstallPPC/InstallPPC.htm) and see if it matches what you did.

I downloaded to the desktop then opened the program and selected "Run" with the PDA connected. An attemt to install occurs, but as I indicated, a message indicates that the installation "was unsuccessful".
