I'm interested to see what interesting things others may be doing with Menus in iSilo.
Has anyone found a use for a Menu when the menu selections don't include hyperlinks? (ie. other than for navigation)
Please post small examples as attachments or links to larger examples.
Thanks,
Andrew

You mean besides the ad-libs shown in the display sample?
I have not, but I tend to think of menus more as an enumerated input item in forms ... something which iSilo doesn't need.

That's why it's taken me so long to put up this post. The ad-libs have kept me blissfully entertained for 2+ years (since the Menu capability was added with version iSiloX 4.0 in Oct 2003) but now I'm feeling like I need something a little more . . .
The value of Menus beyond navigation could be significant if there was a way to store the entries. Then these drop-down lists could be used for data collection. While we know that iSilo is mostly static, it does have the ability to store some user entered data (ie. bookmarks). Thinking broadly - if this could be expanded and one could store Menu selections in some sort of user profile and then gather this data somehow, it would open up some big new opportunities for using iSilo.
