A very basic question really: I am new to iSilo and have been copying part of the content in a pdb document in the clipboard using the copy command (following instructions in the manual). However I have troubles in viewing the stuffs that I have just copied as I do not know the location of the clipboard and there are no instructions in the manual to guide me. Pls tell me how can I open the clipboard & view its content. Thank you very much.

BTW I should have mentioned that I encountered the problem when using iSilo on an HP Pocketpc.

You would need a third party program to view the contents of the clipboard.

Why do you need to view the clipboard?

Perhaps you are not familiar with the copy and paste concept? Generally the way you use the clipboard is that you copy something from one application and then paste the copied item into another application. The clipboard is the holding place provided by the operating system that facilitates this "communication" between different applications. Generally there is no need to view the contents of the clipboard since it only holds one item at a time and you usually know what you copied to it since you perform the copy manually yourself. So for example, you could copy some text from an iSilo document and paste it into a Word document.

Thanks for the info. I was thinking that for example on Microsoft Word there is a facility to view th content of the clipboard for multi copied items. Anyway now that you have mentioned the clipboard of iSilo can only hold one copied item I have successfully copied segment to my pocket Word Document and my prupose has been served. Many thanks for taking the trouble to reply to my thread. Cheers!

A good 3rd party app to do this is Copycougar. It is a clipboard manager that is very easy to use. Supports multiple items, and shows images and text exactly how it will appear.
