I use ISILO a lot with a large 12 MB medical document (Carl Weber's Clincial Medicine Consult -Excellent!). My problem is that often I have to wait while Isilo "Formats" or "Renders" a new screen. I can hit the cancel to have the page formatted in the backround but I am hoping there is a way to have these done automatically for me. Any tips?

Also I figure with my desktop system's RAM and fast processor I should NOT have a problem with a 12 MB file being open all at once. I don't want to have any "reformatting time". Is there a setting that would let me dump a whole document in RAM for faster navigation?

TY. Great software.

Anyone have any thoughts on this? Does everyone have this issue or just me?

Are you using iSilo for Microsoft Windows? What version of iSilo are you using?

Oh, and 12 MB isn't that big...

I am using Isilo for Windows Version 4.32. I have a AMD Opteron CPU and 1 gig RAM running Windows XP.

One thing you can do is to always leave iSilo and that document open and/or automatically start iSilo and have it open the document when you start your computer.
