I have been a Palm O/S user for years now and just bought my first Pocket PC. I tried to install iSilo, but got an error message on my device when I ran the .exe file to install it. It simply says that the iSilo installation was unsuccessful. Any ideas and/or counsel? Please advise. Thanks!

Try doing a soft/warm reset, then try installing "iSilo for Pocket PC" again.

Try installing directly with the .cab file instead.

The HTC is going to be slow running isilo, depending on what palm you were using you'll see differences between a regular ppc and the 8125 with a small processor.

Ever since I changed to PPC I did not looked back to palm. however not PPC phone which runs slower than regular PPC.

I also have a cingular8125. I have downloaded isilo for PPC, but when I try to run it on my device it says its the wrong application and I need to download the PPC version. Any suggestions?

If you get a message that says you need to install the Pocket PC version, then what you did was install the Windows Mobile Smartphone version. For the Cingular 8125, make sure that you install the Pocket PC platform version of iSilo and not the Windows Mobile Smartphone platform version.
