I have just tried 4.32 on my iPAQ 4150. It has the same problem as 4.25 in that it takes up to a minute to start up. Once running, it is quick. :)

I had to go back to 4.01 for instant startup and snappy performance.

I also have problems with the 4.32 version. I am using the Ipaq 1945. It takes two to three minutes to first load up. Once it is loaded up, it works fine. And if I don't close it completely, but let it stay in the background, it comes on quickly. But if I shut it down (like when refreshing the unit), again the isilo takes a very long time to load up.

I went back to the 4.01 version, and it loads fine as before. The only thing is that in the 4.01 version, the outside links do not work at all.

Is there some feature in the 4.32 version that can be disabled, so that it will load up more quickly? It seems to be tied up in some preloading stage.

Does this happen only when loading to the Document List view, or does it also happen when loading directly into a document?

Sorry, I was tied up, and did not see your request until just now.

It happens when I try to GET TO the document list (in iSilo). Once the document list(in iSilo) is up, everything flies fast and works normal. Whenever I close out of iSilo completely, like when refreshing the unit, again, it takes about 2 to 3 minutes to start up iSilo. If you are talking about the document list in Windows PC file explorer, it takes the long load up time, unless iSilo is still open in the background.

During the 2 to 3 minute loadup period, the device is very slow to respond if you try to click on something else in the meantime. The reload process seems to be somehow taking up a lot of the processor time, until it is loaded up, and then the document list comes up.

I have been dealing with the problem partially by not coming completely out of iSilo when I am finished with it. I used to come completely out, so that I can have more memory room for other applications. But, since I use iSilo frequently to read magazines, etc, in iSilo, it would take too long to load up in iSilo, so I try to keep it in the background, to avoid the reload time. This means I cannot refresh the device, to clear memory, or I will have to deal with the long load up time again, which is annoying.

Thanks for considering my problem
