Unfortunately there are no immediate plans at this time to provide a Symbian Signed version as the cost of doing so is prohibitively high.

Hi,
I used to use iSilo on my Vx, m500, TT, T3, HP4150 for years.
Now, I decided to try get rid of additional brick in the pocket and I migrated to OS60v3. And what a surprise here. No support in iSilo, and no support foreseen ;-(
C'mon! There are 12 Nokias featuring s60v3 atm and new are coming! Also others are going to use this system.
Cheers

Hmm, definitely not the sort of news we want to be hearing! I've just exchanged my ageing SE P900 (using UIQ) for a shiny shiny Nokia N91 (using S60 v3) and was immediately narked off to notice that iSilo refused to install. I agree with pegass, iSilo are surely shooting themselves in both feet by not supporting the latest release of S60 when more and more phones are coming out using it.
If iSilo are not going to pony up for the appropriate signing keys, could they perhaps do the decent thing, and provide some links to competitors who provide compatible products which do work on S60 v3?

@all at iSilo
I'm using iSilo on my palm and now I got a S60 series 3 phone. I definitely would like to use iSilo on my Nokia E60 and I'd like to encourage you to support that platform. TIA

Does iSilo need to be Symbian Signed? It doesn't use the communication capabilities of the smartphone...

I'll support it. I used to have a Tungsten T3 (and bought some years ago the PalmOS version of this great software) and now I switched to a Nokia N80 and Iam desperately looking for this great software. I promise to buy the s60-version as soon it is capable to be on my phone.

I have the same problem. I just purchased a Nokia N73, replacing my 7610 that was stolen. The software I miss most is Isilo. I would understand a delay in putting out the version for Symbian 9 but not planning to have one at all??? I feel doubly punished by the stealers.
Please, please, develop one. I am ready to buy it and I am ready to buy it at an high price.
Alternatively, could any reader share what alternative to isilo are on the market? I particularly value the ability to jump to bookmarks.
Isilo team. Again, please consider developing something that can be used on the series 3. The problem is going to get growing as more and more people will buy the new phones in the future.
Thanks,
Peter

Isilo should do a effort for developing Isilo for Symbian 3.0
Many Isilo users have changed their pda or phones to Symbian 3rd (N and E-series of Nokia).
I think that it is a moral duty of Isilo. Besides, I think that the effort will be profitable.

Hi!
And are there any plans about subj?
Or any promises?
:) I bought Nokia E61 but my huge collection of different PDBs can't be used. I'm disappointed and wanna to die:). **just joking.** :)
I even can take part in testing the new version as an QE engeneer with submitting bugs and so on. Just say you'll do it:)

Please do it. I'll gladly pay up for another license eventhough I've already bought the ones for other platforms.

You don't need to do a signed one, just do one that works on S60v3. It's possible to install unsigned apps, I have several.
By default, the S60 3rd comes 'locked down' in terms of the applications it wil accept. You can get around this by going to 'Tools | App manager | Options | Settings' and set 'Software installation' to "All". and 'Online certif check' to "Off". You can now install any compatible Series 60 3rd edition programs whether they are signed or not.
