Does any one know if there is a plan for isilo reader to be made available for MacOSX desktops?

There are no immediate plans at this time to do so. Maybe sometime further out in the future though.

Now, Macmini is very popular, it would be worthy to develop the isilo reader for MacOSX desktops.

I hope you can make iSilo available for Mac OS X sometime in the (near) future. It's very useful, and a shame that users of the mac cant take advantage of it, natively at least.
Hi there,
Although I am still awaiting the delivery of my first mac, I think the only way around this maybe to play around with the many early versions of several pc/windows emulators for mac osx.
examples are:
Micro$oft virtual pc 7 for mac (not free)
Darwine (only early versions available that don't run all *.exe files yet).
Qemu and Qemux - this is probably the best option if you want to install a windows version to run isilo on, or for that matter any multitude of other OS, including linux.
reactos under qemu - a new OS that is being written that will support both windows, linux and mac files and programs without the need for the whole os to be installed.
If I ever receive my iBook, I will let you know of my success or failure.

Well I finally received my ibook and then spent a week looking at how to get isilo to work.
this is the way:
Grab the great opensource emulator Qemux. Install and then install a copy of windows. win98se worked much better for me than xp (just too slow).
With a minimal installation of win98 it is possible to get a reasonable working speed to isilo (since it is really not that memory hungry).
The whole installation process can be a bit tricky, so it is best to cruise over to the qemux support forum board and read about other peoples experiences.
there is also the command line version qemu, but I never tried that.
I can finally read my texts in isilo on my new mac, but things would be just so much easier if they could support osx as well as they support w32, nt, symbian, and palmos!!! (hint hint)
good luck
