Cannot use in N70

I just installed iSilo with default settings in Nokia N70. I also created a PDB file with iSiloX with encoding BIG5. I tried to use iSilo on PC to view the PDB file without any problem. My problem is when I try to view this file on N70, all Chinese characters are displayed as a square box. I tried to set the iSilo on N70 to use "document specific" encoding but it still cannot display Chinese characters. My N70 is Hong Kong edition and can see both Tradition and Simplified Chinese. Any things that can be done to solve this ?

Also, for iSilo on PC, the graphics in PDB sometimes show "grayscale" pictures but after I close it and open again, it show the "color" picture again. Why it is so ?

My version is v4.31.

For the Chinese display issue, in iSiloX, try setting the output encoding to UTF-8 then reconvert to see if it helps.

For the grayscale picture issue, do you have a small document you can post so that we can try to reproduce the issue to determine the cause of the problem?

I will try the UTF-8 encoding and see whether it works....and let you know later.

For the grayscale issue, I cannot upload the file to you as its exceed 2M limit. Pls. let me know what other method I can use to send it to you.

For the encoding issue, after I set all fonts to "CombinedChinese.....12", they can now display on N70.

For the grayscale issue, I sent a copy of the file to you to your specified email address.

"Is it possible to transfer a document to N70 by Bluetooth and open it directly by iSilo when the document are still in "Inbox" ? Is it possible to *link" iSilo to all PDB file for N70 ? "

For the grayscale issue, I sent a copy of the file to you to your specified email address.Thanks for sending the file. Does the problem occur with all images or just certain ones. Can you give the page number of a page containing an image for which the problem always occurs?

Well, there are no fixed certain pages that have problem. The problem is occurred for all pictures. i.e. if one picture is display in grayscale, all other pictures on other pages are displayed as grayscale. However, after closing the iSilo and openned again (sometimes it need several times), all pictures can show color properly.

No, we have not been able to reproduce the problem.
