:( After turning off my Pocket PC or after it times out and turns itself off, I cannot use iSilo for 15 seconds after turn unit back on. I never had this problem when using my Palm version. I converted to Pocket PC now I am putting up with this silliness.

Has anyone had this problem and is there a solution? I have asked several experts on this unit and no one has any idea how to fix it. Most likely it is a setting that needs to be changed. However, I am unable to locate it in any of the menus.

Please, any help would be appreciated. I should have access to my iSilo document as soon as I turn my unit back on.

At the time when you turn the device off, do you have a document open that is located on a memory card?

I get this behaviour all the time. And yes I load my Isilo files off the SD card - I cannot change this as the most often used file is over 100Mb and cannot fit directly on my device. I should mention that I still get this behaviour even when the Isilo file is only a few kilobytes in size.

When a Pocket PC devices turns off, it shuts down the card driver. When a Pocket PC devices turns back on, it then needs to restart the card driver. The amount of time this takes depends on the specific device. It thus affects iSilo's ability to access files on a card.

Theoretically, it depends on device, card and file system on card.
I had this trouble early. But now it disappeared. Deivice and card (and filesystem) stay the same.
