Perhaps not bad enough to be called a "bug" but more a usability issue . . .
Before I describe, let me define my understanding of the term "focus". I will use the word "focus" to state which area is highlighted/selected in a given window. I'm not sure if this is technically precise.
I have noticed that when I go to the Find screen in iSilo for Palm OS (ver 4.31) on my Palm T:X, the focus starts on the Find button. This requires that I select the text in the Find: ______ text box from what was there before and then re-enter my new text string to overwrite it. Then I would click the Find button to do the search.
I believe in past versions (or perhaps this change is due to my recent switch from Tungsten T3 to a T:X) that when I opened the Find screen, the focus would start out on the Find: _____ text box with the text already selected. I could then immediately enter my new text string and directly click the Find button.
The difference between these two methods is small but I think the second is more intuitive and saves a step (selecting the text from the prior search) for most uses.
I just tried this on my Palm Simulator and it seems to start already with the focus on the Find: ____ text box (as I remembered from the past). Could this be an issue specific to the T:X?
