copy text/ out of memory problem

Although I have over 7mb on internal drive (from where Isilo is run) and about the same on 128 sd card (where most books are kept), and aklthough I can copy books within each and one to the other, I am unable to copy books when I am in the doc - unless the doc is around 60kb or less.

If I select 'copy entire document (or page)' when the book is over around 60kb all I get is message: 'There is not enough memory to complete the copy'.

Why, when I have so much more available memory?

There is a limitation in current versions of Palm OS that limits the maximum amount of text that can be copied to the clipboard to less than 64K.
