This is a poll for a new feature in future releases: Do you want to have one-tap translation for any word in the text? I personally would vote for yes. I would like to be able to tap a word while reading a book in some language other than mother's one to get a popup screen (like shown on attached screens) to have an instant translation of tapped word. I would like to get an explanation for seldom words in native language also. What do you think?
Actually we are specializing in dictionaries for Palm and Pocket PC (www.absoluteword.com) and we have over 300 dictionaries for all major languages available online. We'd like to partnership with iSilo to provide popup translation as a new feature in next releases. Vote for us, let us make iSilo more friendly.

I bought the dictionary pop up wimdow for pocket pc recently, from a link founded in"absolute word.com". It is very useful - just mark the word inthe text and the translation is automactally. the problem is that it is works only in "mobipocket software ( or am I wrong? ), for desktop pc ( is free ) and for pocket pc ou palm ( not free ). Then until now you just can use this dictionary pop up in ebboks compatible with mobipocket, then is a little limitaded until now. But if will be possible in the future to use it in isilo, it will be a graet notice, and a big improvement.
The version for desktop pc os this pop up dictionary is very beatiful, and easy to use. ( the mobipocket is free for desktop pc, but the dictionaries not ). The mobipocket for desktop pc is very beatiful. Better than for pocket pc
I hope that mobipocket.com increase its list of dictionaries in the future. For exemple, i dont find any dictionary portuguese- portuguese yet, nor in mobipocket .com neither in anywhere.
And portuguses is the third language ( if i am not wrong ) speaken in the world.

I just want to add my vote for dictionary support even though the poll is closed. It's features like this that make e-book superior to traditional books on paper. All the other major e-book readers have this feature now.

I, too, would really like to lend my support for this enhancement.
however, i'd like to qualify that with: Haali Reader supports creating custom dictionaries from an easy to create text file source, rather than requiring its dictionaries to be bought. I'd like a similar tool to create "iSilo Dictionaries" from plain text files. without that feature/tool, other dictionary support would be worthless to me. (note: isilo could easily support paid dictionaries at the same time, and simple compilation of those retail dictionaries could be non-reversible)
