Delete icon on toolbar

I would like to see the option of having a delete button on the toolbar.

Even better would ba a customisable toolbar so that we could select our own icons for the toolbar based on personal preferences.
There's a hug gap between the 'Find' and 'Home' icons which I'd love to fill with links to 'Display' / 'Copy' / 'Font' but so far this option isn't available. Any plans to make it so?
