I have just loaded iSilo to my WM5 PPC and would like to be able to use it to read my growing library of PDB files. When loaded, these files show up as lots of symbols instead of standard english letters/words. It is as if I have loaded Wingdings font or some such instead of a standard Tahoma or Arial or whatever.

I can see the book title on the first line but then everything else that follows looks like Egyptian hieroglyphics. This occurs for all the PDB files I have tried, making sure I tried books loaded from different sites and from different sources.

I can read these PDB files in eReader Pro and in uBook Reader so I think the files are OK. Is it possible iSilo does not fully handle the PDB file format?

A PDB file is the generic term for Palm data files, which encompass possibly thousands of different formats. iSilo can only read PDB files in iSilo and Palm Doc format, so if the PDB files you are trying to view are in neither of those formats, then you will not be able to properly view them in iSilo.
