Global bookmarks

I'm surprised this topic is not an FAQ.

I have two isilo docs. For argument's sake, lets call them Doc A and Doc B.

I create a Global bookmark in Doc A.

My question: Now what?


How do I reference THAT bookmark in Doc B?

Or is that NOT how I'm supposed to use Global Bookmarks?

Global bookmarks are no longer really supported and are a remnant from a long time ago to add some sort of support for inter-document jumping. But the implementation was flawed and there are remnants only to support the few legacy cases that remain. They will be fully phased out in a future version. There is really no way now to create new documents that utilize them.
