I live in a 28' travel trailer (caravan, to you European types), so storage space is at a premium. Specifically, I have very little room for books. And as I am a voracious reader, this is a problem.
My solution has four parts: 1) my PalmPilot, 2) iSiloX, 3) iSilo, and 4) Project Gutenburg (http://www.gutenberg.org/). I download files in text format, run them through iSiloX, transfer them to my 512 Mb memory card on the PalmPilot, and then use iSilo for reading.
I generally like to read for about an hour or so at night, and while my PalmPilot isn't quite the same as curling up in bed with a book, it sure beats sleeping with my laptop!
I can't really think of any software that has made my life as comfortable as iSilo and iSiloX. I'm a very happy camper!
