Now that I have wireless network access with my Palm T|X,
it would be REALLY cool if I could directly convert HTML to
iSilo format on the Palm.

Any plans to develop a Palm OS version of iSiloX?

Thanks,

MA

There is unlikely to be a version of iSiloX that runs directly on a Palm OS device.

There is unlikely to be a version of iSiloX that runs directly on a Palm OS device. That's a real pity. Would it be technically too difficult? Would it run too slowly?

This a shame. I came here and registered to ask the same question. Now that more and more Palm PDAs and Treos can access the Internet wirelessly, it would be very nice to convert websites for off-line reading. A person can use iSiloX for Windows to create the conversion item and set its properties. All the Palm version will need to do is just convert. I'd be happy with this. It will need to be able to write the SD card.

So, can iSiloXC be ported to run under PalmOS? It can be called iSiloPC. It sure would be a great tool!

Thanks!

I'm not sure if iSiloPC would be a good name because it could be misleading. The PC part of the name might make people think it runs on a desktop PC and not a Palm device. Maybe a name like iSiloXPalm would be easier for users to tell what OS is required to run the utility.
