I have both Isilo and hanDbase on my Ipaq. The .pdb files I depend on using with Isilo have somehow been routed to open in hanDbase only and are rendered totally impossible to use in hanDbase. How do I do a file association so that the files I intend to open with Isilo actually open with Isilo?
PLEASE HELP!
Thanks in advance,

The .pdb extension is a generic extension for files in the generic Palm database storage format. So any file with a format that originated in the Palm OS world likely has that extension so that the file can be installed to a Palm OS device. There is no facility on a Pocket PC device other than the extension mechanism to associate files with particular applications. So if you have multiple applications that utilize files with a certain extension, only one of them can be associated with that extension. For all other applications, you will need to start the application and use the application's internal facilities for opening files. In the case of iSilo, use iSilo's document list view to open files if you decide to associate the .pdb extension with hanDbase.

I solved this issue in this way: I renamed all isilo documents "*.prc".
So "*.pdb" are corresponds to HandBase.
The disadvantage is iSiloX CAN`T assign "*.prc" extension automatically. So I do it manually.
