Hi,

I understand that iSilo documents do not have source URL information included. However, it seems it would be easy to add this ability in iSiloX, in a manner that is consistent with the current document format.

You could add the feature to have iSiloX automatically record source URL(s) in the Document Information (under Title, Author, or publisher).

I do this now manually for important pages (when I remember!) I think it would be very useful- I clip a lot of web articles, and would like to store the URL information in case I need to go back to the article on the web.

Plucker stores source URL's, but I'd like to stick with iSilo since I registered and have so many iSilo files...

Thanks,
Steve

I'm not sure I care when setting up iSiloX, since I am already filling out things like document name, etc. The whole beauty of Clipper is the "instant grab", so being able to specifiy that the URL ( of the first page) be included in the document info would be nice. Perhaps a string can be established ( such as &URL or something similar) which, if put in any of the document info properties in the default clipper configuration would be replaced by the actual URL when the page is extracted.

I like this suggestion...

Please, please please... :D add this functionality to iSiloX/Clipper!!!

Don't make me use Plucker.. or worse, Repligo@!! (Repligo puts source URL at top of each page - *not* the way to go, IMO)

I'll add my support to this option.

This has been requested for the clipper before and would be sooooo useful! I know I'm not the only one who has clipped something then not looked at it for weeks only to read it and want to return to the original site with no recollection of what that was.

Please add this feature.
