I recently bought a Palm TX (PalmOS Garnet 5.4.9) to replace my Tungsten T. I installed iSilo (first 4.28 and later 4.29) and then brought the 256MB SD card over from the Tungsten and restored the _iSiloDocSettingsDB_ database to have the categorisation of all the documents on the card.
Under Options-Region I have regions 2 and 3 set to 'Drag'. However, this functionality only works sporadically. Sometimes I tap and drag in the correct area of the document and it moves correctly following the stylus. More often nothing happens at all. When I tap in the regions defined as "Screen up" and "Screen down" it works correctly all the time. If I set all four regions to "Drag" I see the same inconsistent behaviour. If I set all four to "Screen up/down" I get 100% reliable operation.
Sometimes if I tap and drag the stylus up and down repeatedly the display will move sporadically, following and stopping at random during the same continuous drag action.
I suspect this is an issue with the new OS since I am seeing exactly the same behaviour on Bible+ which has a similar dragging functionality.
The only 'system level' utilities I have running are Buttons Ex and FindHack and the problem persists with FindHack disabled.
