Here's the problem: When using a password protected document made by isilox, one has to insert the password every time the document is opened.
What can the explanation be?

That is the correct behavior. With a password protected document, you need to enter the password in order to be able to open it. The usual intent of password protecting a document is so that others who may use your device will not be able to open your password protected documents.
This contrasts with a document protected by a registration code, for which the registration code only needs to be entered once. The usual intent of protecting a document with a registration code is to prevent the document from being used on another device, but allowing unrestricted access on the device for which the correct registration code has been entered.

I'm sorry, what I really meant was registration code and not password. The pda is a HPiPAQH5450 with 2003 update.

In iSilo's document list view, go to the Tools menu and tap Options. In the Options dialog, tap the Settings tab. Make sure the "Local settings" field is either "Automatically save" or "Ask before saving". Also try increasing the "Space to use limit" above the default of 100KB.
