reformatting cf card

I was told that if you reformat your SD card to file system FAT 16 that performs faster? Do I need to reformat my CF card? Can I even reformat a CF card? Thanks for the help . . .

Why are you posting this under the bugs category?

Whether the card will be faster if you reformat is questionable. You may want to do some searching on the web on that topic for more information, but you can reformat any type of card, including a CF card.
