Found a glitch in one of my iSilo files that I can't figure out:
I have pages that consist of a single image that links to another page. In FrontPage and Internet Explorer, clicking the image links to other page as it is supposed to. In iSilo, it does not.
The file is DermMeister (downloadable from http://tinyurl.com/e2cw5). An example of the problem is on page 384. Clicking the first image takes you to page 501 as it is supposed to. But clicking the image on page 501 does NOT link back to page 384 like it is supposed to in iSilo (but it does so appropriately in FrontPage and IE). Is this a bug or something wrong in my code?
I've attached the HTML files of concern.
Looking forward to suggestions on this. What am I missing here?

Although the link back does not work in the .pdb file at the URL you gave, converting your small example does work (converted with iSiloX 4.29b2). Does converting your small example not work when you do it? If so, which version of iSiloX are you using?

I'm using iSiloX 4.28. When I convert the small samples .htm files I attached the link back works normally. Yet when these same pages are converted as part of a larger document, the link back is inactive. Puzzling? Maybe it has to do with absolute vs. relative links. Any thoughts on why this could be happening?

No idea why the problem would be happening. It could be a bug. The easiest way to figure it out is if you could zip the entire source and upload it somewhere, then email the URL of the zip. I can then take a detailed look.

I'm back trying to address this issue after a long hiatus.
I'll post the files to a private area and send access info separately.

Thanks for sending the sample files. It turns out that when you have an image that is marked as both a regular hyperlink and as having an image map (e.g., <a href=...><img map=...></a>), it manifests a bug whereby a series of hyperlinks in content that follow that doubly-linked image will not work. The workaround is to remove either the regular hyperlink or the reference to the image map so that the image becomes singly-linked.

I downloaded Harrison's Principle of Medicine. Freeware. I bought iSilo just to be able to get to tables and to use hyperlinks to navigate. But it still doesn't work. I even downlosded it a second time. Please help, administrator or moderator if you are there.

Thanks

Harrison's Principles of Medicine is a copyrighted textbook. The download from Freewarepalm.com is unauthorized and is in violation of the copyright.
The only links that seem to be working are those from the Table of Contents to individual chapters. Other links including those to tables seem not to work. This is due to the original compilation of this document from its source material. It cannot be correctable by individual users, only by the "author."

I am surprized that they are doing this so openly if indeed they do not have a license to do so. Thanks

I agree. One would think the publisher would be more vigorous about protecting their content. Nonetheless, this iSilo version is clearly not sanctioned by the copyright holder.
