I'm running iSilo 4.28 in my axim X50v. I've run the betas in the past, and installed 4.28 when it was released. All of a sudden, when I try to run it, it displays a dialog saying:

"The pre-release test software has expired and will no longer function. Please update to the latest version."

WTF! This _is_ the latest version! I uninstalled 4.28 then reinstalled it, no luck. I uninstalled again, and deleted all the references to iSilo I could find in the registery then reinstalled, no luck. Uninstalled and reinstalled 4.27 to see if that would make any difference, NO LUCK.

What do I need to do to get iSilo running again?!?

Hmmm...

In desperation, I uninstalled v4.27 and reinstalled v4.28 one more time, and this time it worked! Had to reenter my reg code of course, but it's now working fine.

Most strange, but I'm happy now... :o

The betas always expire regardless of whether or not you are registered, as the beta is not a release version. When you install the beta for the first time it provides you with the expiration date. The latest beta of version 4.28 expired on September 15. This information is also always present on the beta download pages.

The release version of course does not expire. Version 4.28 was released on September 6.

This was the latest non-beta version. It had been installed over the beta, if I recall correctly, but was definitely the full version. None of the installs mentioned in my first post above were betas.

Doesn't matter now anyway, I guess.
