Focus on input field in Password Dialog

I have a password protected iSilo document. When I open it I'm prompted for the password.

My LifeDrive Manager running PalmOS 5.4.8 draws a bright blue frame araound the OK button, indicating that it has the input focus.

Instead of entering the password right away I always have to tap the password input field first, to make it get the input focus.

It would be very convenient if the input field would have the focus set automatically from the iSilo software.

I think on a T5 it's the same. Can somebody confirm this?

It happens on any of the newer devices that has support for one-handed operation using the 5-way navigator (e.g., Treo 650, Tungsten T5, LifeDrive).
