I have some web pages saved in UTF-8 chinese code, but I cannot saved them into isilo by either using the clipper of isilox or isilox.

I have tried
1) the suggestions in this forum to set the output character as big-5;
2) saved the web page into text file with code big-5 by Internet explorer's save as function; then use isilox to convert.

Both methods do not work !

Isilox generated following error message "Unable to open: file:///d%3a/documents/my%20documents/ebooks/%b3%fc%b6g%a5z%2c%20%b1i%a4%ad%b1%60/200501_06.txt"

I am using windows XP sp2
isilox 4.27
tungsten E with CJKOS

Please help

Try renaming the folder containing the file to having only ASCII characters.

Thanks.

I got it converted into Isilo format. I can read it in windows isilo but not in my palm

My palm is tungsten 5 with CJKOS 4.26
My windows is XP xp2

On the other hand, I tried to converted the UTF-8 text into traditional chinese (big 5 I suppose) output with isilox; however, I noted some characters even missing in the output file, just "?" showed when I read in windows isilo.

Your help please.

Do you have a small example source HTML file you can post that exhibits this problem?
